New Political Party to Be Formed Under Balen Shah Ahead of Falgun 21 Election

Kathmandu – A new political party is set to be formed under the leadership of Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah. Sources indicate that while an official announcement has not yet been made, Shah is expected to lead the party in the upcoming elections.

Originally, Shah planned to announce the party about six months ahead of the regular 2084 BS elections. However, unexpected political developments have advanced the federal parliamentary elections to this year, leaving limited time for preparation.

Within his team, there is still no consensus on when to formally announce the party. “Everyone agrees on forming a party to contest the elections, but there is debate on whether to announce immediately or wait for some time,” a source said.

Shah is reportedly preparing to include all independent leaders in the central team to strengthen his leadership.
