Lionel Messi suspension lifted : Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi has returned to Paris Saint Germain (PSG) training after being suspended. The French champion PSG suspended Messi for two weeks last Wednesday for visiting Saudi Arabia without taking permission from the club.
But Argentina captain Messi apologized to the club and teammates for the visit and his suspension was lifted, according to the Daily Mail. PSG posted a photo on Monday morning saying that Messi was in training. PSG suspended the world champion Messi for two weeks and also cut his salary.
But Messi returned to the field on Monday. Messi missed Sunday’s 3-1 win over Troyes in League One due to suspension. Now, Messi will be able to play at home against Ajaccio next Saturday. Currently, PSG is in the hunt for the title with a 6-point lead over second-placed Lens in League One.
