Kathmandu. A New York court has found former US President Donald Trump Liable for Sexual Abuse and Defamation. e. Jean Carroll is a magazine writer. She accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in 1990 and defamed her as a liar. The court ordered Carroll to pay five million dollars in Image damages.
However, the court did not find Trump guilty of raping Carol in the department store because the case is being held in a civil court, not a criminal court. Trump was not due to appear in Manhattan federal court for two weeks. He is still denying these allegations.
According to information, this incident may cause a big blow to Trump’s plan to contest the US presidential election next year. The court ordered Carroll to pay $5 million, including $3 million for defamation and $2 million for harassment, including sexual assault.
Donald Trump has spoken about this on the social media platform Truth. He wrote, “I have absolutely no idea who this woman is.” This decision is an insult. The spokesperson of the former president issued a statement saying that this is a step taken by the Democratic Party against Trump. According to him, this issue is a politically motivated lie. Trump will appeal against the decision.
