New Delhi. India stunned Pakistan in T20 World Cup Pakistan has won a historic victory over India. Pakistan clinched a historic victory by defeating India by 10 wickets in a Group II match in Dubai on Sunday.
Pakistan scored 152 runs in 17 overs with 5 balls to spare. In Pakistan’s victory, opener Mohammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam shared a record 152 runs.
Rizwan, who played 55 balls, top-scored with 79 runs. Similarly, captain Ajam contributed 68 runs in 52 balls. Half a century of both made history in the country. None of the Indian bowlers who bowled against Pakistan were successful.
Batting after losing the toss, India scored 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. For India, captain Virat Kohli top-scored with 57 runs. Similarly, wicket keeper Rishab Pant contributed 39 runs. India opener Rohit Sharma was out for zero runs.
Shahid Shah Afridi took the most 3 wickets for Pakistan after winning the toss and fielding. Afridi, who bowled four overs, scored 31 runs. Similarly, Hasan Ali took two wickets.
Having made a happy start with the victory, Pakistan has scored two important points. This is the first time Pakistan has beaten India in a World Cup T20 cricket match.
