Kathmandu: Gold prices increased while silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Gold prices rose by Rs. 700 per tola, reaching Rs. 275,000 per tola on Tuesday. On Monday, gold was traded at Rs. 274,300 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver prices fell by Rs. 45 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs. 3,720 per tola on Monday, is now priced at Rs. 3,675 per tola. Gold and silver prices in Nepal are determined based on international market rates. On Tuesday, gold was trading at USD 3,924.37 per ounce, while silver was trading at USD 49.54 per ounce in the international market.
