Iskandar Puteri (Malaysia)- A Bangladeshi woman has been arrested for allegedly cutting off her lover’s genitals after discovering he had married another woman in their home country.
Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan, Iskandar Puteri OCPD, said a report was lodged at around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday (October 8) by a Malaysian man. According to the report, a 33-year-old Bangladeshi man was attacked by his lover at Kampung Lokan, Gelang Patah, resulting in injuries to his genitals and left hand.

The victim was rushed to Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) in Johor Bahru for treatment. The suspect, a 34-year-old Bangladeshi woman, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. the same day. Police confirmed that she had no prior criminal record and tested negative for drugs.
A 29-centimeter-long knife was recovered from the scene. The woman has been remanded until October 13, and the case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code and Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
