Kathmandu — Prakash Pathak, claiming to be the leader of the “Extremist Group of Nepal,” has threatened to kill 10 high-profile figures within 10 days, prompting police to tighten security around the targets.

The 10 individuals targeted in the emails include:
1. Prem Kumar Rai (CIAA Chief)
2. Lokman Singh Karki
3. Gopal Bahadur Khadka
4. Ramesh Lekhak (Former Home Minister)
5. Balkrishna Khan
6. Arzu Rana (Former Foreign Minister)
7. Om Bikram Rana
8. Hem Bahadur Gurung
9. Ramesh Chand Thakuri
10. Durga Prasai
The Valley Police Office has instructed units in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur to monitor the residences, travel routes, and event venues of all 10 figures.
Pathak claimed in a video that he is currently in India and cannot be arrested. Police continue to investigate his activities and the structure of his group.
