Kathmandu-On Constitution Day, Nepal’s UML organized a program at its central office in Chyasal, attended by most party leaders except Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

After the program, UML leader Mahesh Basnet spoke with YouTubers. When asked about allegations by Sudhan Gurung, Basnet said, “These are baseless claims; no accusations have been made against me. Sudhan only shared what he heard in fear.” He also suggested that Gurung might join UML.

Basnet responded to actress Rima Bishwakarma, who had questioned his conduct, saying, “Call me a thug? I became a village chairman at 23 and have never demanded even two rupees from anyone.” He invited her to visit his home to see the truth for herself.
