Kathmandu — In a sudden administrative shake-up, the government has promoted Baikuntha Prasad Aryal to the post of secretary.
The decision was made during Monday evening’s Cabinet meeting, spokesperson and Communications Minister Jagadish Kharel confirmed.
Aryal is currently serving as the acting Chief Secretary of the Sudurpaschim Province Government. His promotion marks a significant rise in responsibility.
