Kathmandu — Talks between the government, political parties, and Gen Z representatives are underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. Initiated by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, the meeting has been described by the government as a “tripartite dialogue.”

According to Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, this is the first formal dialogue of its kind aimed at fostering a conducive environment for the upcoming House of Representatives election.
Political leaders attending the talks include
Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Barsaman Pun, Madhav Sapkota, Prakash Adhikari, Deepak Karki, Prakash Jwala, Rajendra Pandey, Mohan Shrestha, Rajendra Gurung, Nisha Dangi, Swarnim Wagle, Mahesh Bartola, Khitiz Thebe, Basant Kushwaha, and Prakash Sharan Mahat.
Representatives from the Gen Z group include Monika Niraula, Raksha Bam, Purushottam Yadav, Samana Lawati, Khemraj Saund, Up Arjun Chamling, Bhoj Bikram Thapa, Miraj Dhungana, Bibek Dahal, James Karki, Rehanraj Dangol, Amit Khanal, and Rijan Ranamagar.
The government hopes that this long-anticipated dialogue will help build consensus and cooperation among all sides in preparation for the upcoming election.
