Syangja—Madhav Prasad Lamsal, 45, a senior agriculture officer, died in a motorcycle accident in Syangja.
Lamsal was riding a motorcycle bearing number LU 59 P 3797 when the accident occurred at Ambot, Putalibazar Municipality–14, on the Putalikhhet–Satou internal paved road, according to the Syangja District Police Office. The motorcycle fell approximately 100 meters off the road.

While traveling from Satou toward Lamaget in Putalibazar, Lamsal was rescued and taken to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Lamsal had previously served as the head of the National Agriculture Modernization Program, Program Implementation Unit, Kaski, and his permanent residence was in Lamsal Danda, Putalibazar Municipality–14.
