In an interview with journalist Yagyash, Hamal said, “Considering my age, I feel it’s better to devote my remaining life to myself or others. Raising a child requires not only responsibility but also time and dedication.’’ He added, “We decided together not to have children.”
However, Hamal left the possibility of adoption open, stating that they would not hesitate to support a child if the opportunity arises, though they have not planned for adoption yet.
He also revealed that their late marriage was partly due to their views on having children, a decision supported by Madhu Bhattarai.
The autobiography also details his personal life, film career, struggles, and successes. The book is published by Fineprint.
