According to Gurung, Lamichhane expressed full support for the ongoing Gen Z movement and youth-led campaigns. Their conversation focused mainly on two points: RSP’s backing of the Gen Z protests and Lamichhane’s belief that the state is targeting him.

The one-hour meeting also included discussions about current political dynamics and the possibility of unity among alternative political forces.
Lamichhane’s personal secretary, Avinash Acharya, stated that he had only arranged the meeting but did not participate in the discussion.
