Kathmandu — Prime Minister Sushila Karki is holding discussions today with leaders from 10 political parties at her official residence in Baluwatar, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

In addition to nationally recognized parties, leaders representing parties from the dissolved parliament have also been invited. From the Nepali Congress, General Secretary Gagan Thapa and Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat will participate, while from CPN-UML, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali will attend.
From the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pampha Bhusal and Barshaman Pun will join the meeting. Similarly, Rastriya Swatantra Party will be represented by Vice President Dr. Swarnim Wagle and Secretariat Member Sobita Gautam.
Other participants include RPP General Secretary Rajendra Gurung and Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha; JSP Nepal Chair Upendra Yadav and Prakash Adhikari; LSP’s Sharvendra Nath Shukla; NUP’s Resham Chaudhary; Nepal Workers and Peasants Party’s Prem Suwal; and Janamat Party’s Chandan Kumar Singh.
Observers Kedar Bhakta Mathema and Vidyadhar Mallik have also been invited to the meeting, the Prime Minister’s Secretariat confirmed.
