Kathmandu—Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of a third-gender individual near the new bus park in Tokha Municipality-9–9, Kathmandu.
According to sources at the Kathmandu District Police Office, the suspect’s identity is not being disclosed, and further questioning and verification are ongoing.
The body was found on Saturday afternoon along the roadside, wrapped in a tarpaulin. Police traced the tarpaulin to a hotel and identified a suspect staying there, who has now been taken into custody.
The victim’s body has been sent to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital for autopsy, and their identity has not yet been confirmed.
