Kathmandu—Dr. Surendra Aryal, Secretary of the National Assembly, has resigned from his post, effective from Kartik 11.

According to the Office of the President, Dr. Aryal’s resignation letter has been received and approved under Section 6 (a) of the Remuneration, Service Conditions, and Facilities Act, 2075, related to the Secretary-General of the Federal Parliament, the Secretary of the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of the National Assembly.
The President’s Office confirmed through a press release that Dr. Aryal’s resignation has been accepted and will take effect from Kartik 11.
During his tenure, Dr. Aryal contributed significantly to strengthening legislative procedures and enhancing the operational efficiency of the National Assembly Secretariat.
