Kathmandu—CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has boldly claimed that if the current political situation continues, he is likely to return as Nepal’s Prime Minister. Speaking during a discussion with editors on Sunday, Oli said, “If things keep going this way, KP Oli will be back as Prime Minister—people won’t tolerate this chaos for long.”
He remarked that even editors would soon be calling for his return through editorials, adding humorously, “You’ll soon write editorials saying—bring Oli back!”

Meanwhile, Oli issued a strong challenge to Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who recently claimed that Oli had once recommended Sushila Karki for Prime Minister. Responding sharply, Oli said, “If Prachanda has proof, let him show it. I never made such a recommendation.”
However, Oli admitted that he had written to the president recommending constitutional steps to resolve the ongoing political deadlock democratically.
