Kathmandu — Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Mahabir Pun has officially moved to the ministry’s office in Singha Durbar starting Sunday. According to the ministry, his belongings have been shifted from Keshar Mahal.
Minister Pun, who assumed office on Ashoj 6, had been staying at Keshar Mahal since the following day. The ministry had been temporarily relocated there after a fire broke out at its Singha Durbar office during the Gen-Z protest.
With most of the ministry’s core functions now operating from Singha Durbar again, Minister Pun has also shifted there. “The minister will now stay here from today,” said Joint Secretary Anita Niroula.
The ministry, however, stated that some operations will continue from Keshar Mahal as repair work is still ongoing at Singha Durbar. Thus, work will be managed from both locations for the time being.
