Kathmandu – At 12:09 this afternoon, tremors of an earthquake were felt with its epicenter around Saipal in Bajhang. According to the Earthquake Measurement Center in Surkhet, the quake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale with its epicenter in the Saipal Himal of Bajhang.
The earthquake centered in Saipal Himal was also felt in Bajura. As tremors began in the western region, locals became frightened.
Residents of Bajura, Bajhang, and surrounding areas of Sudurpaschim Province, which is considered earthquake-prone, were alarmed.
Following the tremors, the District Administration Office of Bajura urged everyone to remain cautious. (Rastriya Samachar Samiti)
