Kuala Lumpur. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has said that Asia Cup cricket may move from Pakistan. According to the Indian news organization PTI, after the ACC rejected the ‘hybrid model’ proposed by the organizers after the ACC did not go to Pakistan, the possibility of the tournament being held in Pakistan is less likely.
Earlier this tournament was scheduled to be held in Pakistan from September 2 to 17. But when India refused to play in Pakistan, the tournament became confused. According to PTI, Sri Lanka is interested in hosting the Asia Cup.
Nepal is competing in the tournament along with five Test teams India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Nepal will play against India and Pakistan in the first round. According to PTI, the latest decision of the ACC has also caused uncertainty in Pakistan’s participation in the tournament.
