Kathmandu. West Indies defeated America by 39 runs in the ICC One Day Cricket World Cup qualifiers. Batting first, West Indies scored 297 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 49.3 overs.
In reply, USA chased down the target of 298 runs and scored only 258 runs after losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 50.0 overs.
Earlier in the ICC One Day Cricket World Cup Qualifier, Nepal lost to home team Zimbabwe by 8 wickets. Zimbabwe completed the target of 291 runs given by Nepal in 41.1 overs.
