ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming has become Asia’s richest person, overtaking Gautam Adani. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zhang is worth around $105.5 billion, while Adani’s wealth stands at about $104.8 billion.
The 43-year-old’s fortune has surged alongside ByteDance’s growth and expansion into artificial intelligence.
