Initially, Balendra Sah was the top candidate for prime minister, but the plan changed due to deteriorating circumstances. Rabi Lamichhane was the second choice, but his influence weakened. On Bhadra 25, efforts to appoint Kalyan Shrestha failed due to fundamental constitutional disagreements.

E: stated that Sushila Karki, as a widely accepted and trusted figure, helped stabilize the situation. Even though Om Prakash Aryal initially sought a limited advisory role, the prime minister insisted on appointing him as Home Minister.

Meanwhile, Balendra Sah and his allies tried to appoint Raju Pandey or Mira Chaudhary as Home Minister. E: highlighted, “A major geopolitical and local power struggle is ongoing, with internal intentions unclear. Was the blood of young people shed for this?”

E: called for all parties to remain vigilant, ensure offenders are punished, and organize timely elections. He emphasized that violence-driven politics benefits no one and reaffirmed his commitment to speaking the truth despite personal risk.
