Kathmandu-Sudurpaschim Province has announced financial assistance of Rs 200,000 to the family of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student from Kanchanpur who lost his life in the Hamas attack in Israel.

Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah said the aid is being provided as humanitarian support. Earlier, the provincial government had already distributed the same amount to the families of seven other Nepalis who died in the attack.
Joshi, who had completed his bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from Sudurpaschim University two years ago, was in Israel under the ‘Learn and Earn’ internship program. Chief Minister Shah expressed heartfelt condolences to his family, paying tribute to Joshi’s memory.
Meanwhile, Joshi’s body was brought to Dhangadhi Airport this evening by a Nepali Army Sky Truck and transported to Kanchanpur.
