Indonesia- A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s Papua province on Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The quake occurred at a depth of about 70 kilometers (43.5 miles), with its epicenter located roughly 200 kilometers from Abepura, a city of more than 62,000 people, USGS reported.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center confirmed that no tsunami warning was issued following the quake.
