Texas. There has been a cross fire in Texas of America once again. 9 people died in a shooting at a shopping mall in Texas. Dozens of people including children were injured in the shelling.
According to US authorities, the attacker Allen started shooting at the Allen Premium Outlet Mall in Texas. And, in the retaliatory action of the police, Ailan, the suspect who opened fire, was also killed.
Some pictures and videos of the incident are going viral on social media. In which people covered in blood can be seen lying on the ground. The attackers who were killed are also seen in the video. The gun used in the attack is also seen near his body.
The police department, through its official Twitter handle, advised people not to go to the area. A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said some of the victims were trapped inside the mall, and their condition was not immediately known.
According to the video that is going viral on social media, many employees present in the mall have taken shelter inside the building. Store owner Jill Woolley told a local news station that she was inside with her 79-year-old mother when the shooting happened. “I immediately knew it was a gunshot. Then we fell on the ground,’ said Wooli to the media.
“We are disappointed that our guests and tenants have been affected by this violent incident today,” said Marks, one of the mall operators.
