Two workers have been rescued alive from a flooded underground tunnel at the Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project in Nepal, ten days after a catastrophic flash flood struck the region.
Mechanical foreman Sanjay Sah and mechanical supervisor Kabir Maharjan were pulled from the tunnel by rescuers. Nepal Army personnel and other rescuers carried the mud-covered workers out on their shoulders before taking them for medical treatment.
