Kathmandu: Tremors of an earthquake were felt in Ilam on Saturday. At 6:50 PM, a magnitude 5 quake was recorded, according to the National Seismological Center. The epicenter was reported to be around Nayabazar in Maijogmai Rural Municipality.
Earlier, on January 3 (Poush 19), a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Udayapur, the center stated.
