Kathmandu- A total of 19 Nepali nationals deported from the United States arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday via a chartered flight operated by Omni Airlines. Among them are 17 men and two women who had entered the US illegally and were later detained by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to officials, the deported Nepalis were sent back after a detailed investigation. Their deportation was carried out in coordination with the Nepali Embassy in the US, which issued the necessary travel documents.
Names of Deported Individuals
Sources confirmed that those deported include BK, Ching, Basnet, Bhandari, Bohora, Pokharel, Sah, Khatri, Subedi, Chhimal, Gautam, two Chaudharys, three KC, and three Kandels. Among them, BK and Singh are women.
Earlier Notice of Deportation
US Immigration had earlier notified Nepal about the deportation of 37 individuals. Of them, 18 Nepalis had already been deported earlier, and with Thursday’s chartered flight, the remaining group of 19 has now returned.

Nepalis attempting to enter the US through illegal routes have often faced detention and deportation. Immigration experts stress that such risky journeys not only involve financial loss but also endanger lives.
