Kathmandu — The Youth Association Nepal, affiliated with the CPN-UML, has filed a complaint with the Cyber Bureau against Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah over his recent social media post.

According to the association, Balen’s midnight post contained offensive language and disrespectful remarks toward China, India, the US, and major Nepali political parties, harming national dignity.
Youth Association President Kshitiz Thebe said the post insulted Nepal’s sovereignty and demanded legal action. Though Balen deleted the post shortly after backlash, screenshots quickly went viral.
The Cyber Bureau confirmed that a complaint has been received and is currently under registration process.
