Kathmandu—Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reshuffled the cabinet, altering the departmental responsibilities of ministers Rameshwor Khanal and Om Prakash Aryal.
Finance Minister Khanal has been assigned additional responsibility for the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
Home Minister Aryal’s oversight of the Ministry of Law has been removed; he will now manage only the Home Ministry. The Ministry of Law has been assigned to the newly appointed Anil Kumar Sinha.

The cabinet currently has eight members. Kulman Ghising and Anil Kumar Sinha each manage three ministries, while Rameshwor Khanal oversees two. Dr. Madan Pariyar manages Agriculture, Dr. Mahabir Pun handles Education, and Jagdish Kharel is responsible for Communication and Information Technology. The remaining ministries remain under the direct oversight of Prime Minister Karki.
