Kathmandu- A Thai Lion Air flight bound for Kathmandu was diverted to Lucknow, India, after it failed to land at Tribhuvan International Airport due to a missed approach.

According to airport officials, the aircraft, flight number TLM 220, was arriving from Bangkok when the pilot aborted the landing procedure upon detecting that all necessary conditions for a safe touchdown were not met.

The pilot then diverted the plane to Lucknow following standard safety procedures. Airport sources confirmed that the aircraft has safely landed in Lucknow, and coordination is ongoing regarding its next flight schedule.
