Doctors have clarified that the checkup was routine. The prostate is a male-specific gland located beneath the bladder and around the urethra. While it naturally enlarges with age, abnormal growth can cause urinary problems.

Changes in testosterone and estrogen levels with age can stimulate the growth of cells in the prostate, which is a normal physiological process.
