Florida—A small aircraft made an emergency landing on a busy highway in Florida, colliding with a moving car. The incident occurred on Interstate 95 near Merritt Island on Monday evening at around 5:45 pm local time.
The Beechcraft 55 aircraft, carrying a 27-year-old pilot and one passenger, was forced to land after experiencing engine trouble. While both people on board escaped unharmed, the car driver sustained injuries.
Authorities temporarily shut down the highway for several hours following the incident.
