Kathmandu- A woman attempted self-immolation inside singer Babul Giri’s studio in Anamnagar, Kathmandu, on Saturday afternoon.
The woman, identified as 30-year-old Nitu Paudel, poured petrol on herself in an apparent attempt to set herself on fire. Another man, Dhan Bahadur Giri, was also injured in the incident. Both have been taken to Kirtipur Burn Hospital for treatment, according to SP Pawan Bhattarai of Kathmandu Police.

Police reached the scene shortly after receiving the report, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
