Saptari – A video of Agnisair Krishnavarn Rural Municipality Chairperson Dinanath Chaudhary receiving a foot massage from Deputy Ward Chair Hari Khang has gone viral on social media.
The video, dated Wednesday (Asoj 5), was confirmed by Deputy Chairperson Kalpana Chaudhary, who viewed it on social media. The incident is connected to the rural municipality’s general assembly, which had repeatedly been postponed and was finally scheduled on Asoj 5.

In the video, Chairperson Chaudhary is seen lying on a sofa while Khang lightly massages his feet to encourage him to conduct the assembly. Khang said, “I pressed his feet lightly to make sure the assembly happens. I don’t think I did anything wrong.”
Other ward chairs reportedly pressured Khang to convince the chairperson. Ward Chair Ashok Kumar Acharya of Ward No. 6 noted that the chairperson and Khang act like uncle and nephew, and the incident isn’t a major issue.
Following this effort, the general assembly was successfully conducted on Asoj 5.
