According to sources close to the Prime Minister, Karki expressed concern over the party’s internal disagreements and urged the Congress to ensure a smooth electoral environment, emphasizing the responsibility of a major democratic party. She also assured coordination with the CPN-UML and pledged full government support for election security.
The Prime Minister requested that the convention date be set so it does not affect the elections and expressed her eagerness to complete the elections and hand over power smoothly.
