Kathmandu – Police have arrested Dr. Nicholas Bhusal and SP Sah for attempting to stage a protest at Maiti Ghar. Sanji Dahal had previously been arrested, bringing the total number of detainees to three.
According to SP and spokesperson Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the Kathmandu District Police Office, the protesters attempted to gather at Maiti Ghar despite the District Administration Office not granting permission.

Various Gen-Z groups were reportedly planning the protest. Authorities have imposed tight security around Maiti Ghar and New Baneshwor, deploying a significant number of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel.
