The government has officially approved the agreement reached on Wednesday between Prime Minister Sushila Karki and the Jen-Z group. Thursday’s cabinet meeting decided to publish the agreement in the official gazette and instructed relevant ministries to prioritize its implementation.

Cabinet spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel stated that the meeting also approved expanding the mandate of the Jen-Z Movement Investigation Commission.
Additionally, based on the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission, Pushkar Sapkota has been promoted to a distinguished rank and appointed as Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The report on damages during the Jen-Z movement and the reconstruction plan for public structures has also been submitted to the Prime Minister.
