Kathmandu- A strong earthquake jolted western Nepal on Wednesday night at around 8:26 PM, with tremors reported across Lumbini and Karnali provinces. The Seismological Center has reported that an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale occurred with its epicenter on the border of Rukum East and Baglung.
Residents in several towns rushed outdoors as the quake struck, though no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been confirmed. Nepal’s National Seismological Center is expected to release further details, including the magnitude and epicenter, soon.
