Kathmandu — The price of gold in the Nepali market surged on Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of hallmark gold increased by NPR 5,900 per tola, reaching NPR 250,200 per tola. On the previous day, Wednesday, gold was trading at NPR 244,300 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also rose. On Wednesday, silver was trading at NPR 3,175 per tola, which climbed to NPR 3,345 per tola on Thursday, as reported by the federation.

As of Thursday, the price of gold per 10 grams stands at NPR 214,505, while silver per 10 grams is trading at NPR 2,868.
