Kathmandu — Actress Samragyee RL Shah has spoken out for the first time regarding the controversy surrounding her engagement with actor and model Bishal Kharel.

Through an Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon, she defended her decision, saying the two are legally registered as fiancés and that she has no regrets about the engagement.
Shah rejected allegations circulating on social media claiming she continued the relationship despite knowing Bishal was married. She asserted that she never dates or gets engaged to a married man and would never break up someone’s family.
Bishal’s former wife has alleged that the couple separated after Bishal admitted to sharing a bed with Samragyee in Thailand. Meanwhile, Samragyee maintains that Bishal had already “moved on” and was separated before they got together. Bishal has not commented on the matter.
