Kathmandu. In India, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday beefed up actor Salman Khan’s security citing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Salman Khan will now get Y Plus security instead of existing X category. A few days after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, Salman and his father Salim Khan received death threats.
According to information, this letter was received by the security team near Salim Khan’s house in Mumbai. Salim Khan goes there every morning for a walk. After the threatening letter, Salman submitted an application to the Mumbai Police asking for a firearm license for his own protection.
According to the police, the Bishnoi gang tried to show their power by writing threatening letters. Meanwhile, last month, the Delhi Police also informed about the case related to the alleged conspiracy to kill Salman Khan.
The police claimed that members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang tried to befriend the employees of Salman Khan’s farmhouse and sought information from them about Salman’s arrival and departure times.
