Recalling a recent meeting with a Gen Z youth delegation, Prachanda said, “They requested at least 25 percent representation. We have ensured this priority even in the central committee.”

He directed central committee members, “The nation is facing a crisis. To overcome it, capable Gen Z members must be identified and promoted within their respective areas. Youth must be given high priority.”

The meeting made six key decisions. Decision number four states, “Maximize Gen Z participation in all party committees and give youth priority.” The committee also decided to hold the party’s general convention in the upcoming Mangsir month.

According to Maoist leader Rahish Sah, Prachanda is committed to holding a special convention by the fourth week of Mangsir. “If unity with another party occurs in the meantime, a unified convention will be held, and the party’s name may change accordingly,” Sah added.
