Rupandehi—A police constable was found dead by suicide near the Police Training Center in Butwal.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Shyam Chaudhary of Rapti Sonari-3, Banke. He was discovered hanging from a tree near the multipurpose building behind the training center early Saturday morning, following his night duty.

Chaudhary, who joined the Nepal Police in 2022, had been working as an instructor at the same training center after completing his basic training.
Locals suspect personal relationship issues may have driven him to take his own life.
