Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has begun her first public program by visiting citizens injured during the Gen-Z protests. On Saturday, she visited the National Trauma Center at Bir Hospital to assess their condition, just a day after being appointed Prime Minister.

Karki was briefed by doctors and directed them to ensure no shortage of treatment or resources, pledging the government’s full support. She is also scheduled to meet injured protesters at Civil Hospital, Baneshwor, later today.

After her hospital visits, Karki plans to inspect the Koteshwor Police Post and Maharajgunj Police Circle, both of which were set on fire during the protests, according to her secretariat.
