Kathmandu—Following the viral circulation of a photo allegedly showing a member of the TOB group carrying a pistol during the Gen-Z protest, police have initiated an investigation.
The image shows a person wearing a jacket marked “TOB” with what appears to be a pistol tucked behind the waist. However, authorities have not yet confirmed whether the individual was actually carrying a firearm. The authenticity of the photo is also unverified.

A senior official at the Kathmandu District Police Office said, “It is not yet confirmed whether the person is carrying a pistol or not. Nevertheless, we are investigating internally and will proceed with formal inquiries.”
Police further confirmed that investigations are ongoing into lawless activities, arson, and vandalism linked to TOB and other groups involved in the protest.
