Janakpurdham — Krishna Prasad Yadav, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, will take his oath on Sunday at 10:30 AM. Yadav was appointed on Friday with the support of a seven-party alliance.

Following the resignation of UML’s Saroj Yadav, both Krishna Yadav of Nepali Congress and Jitendra Sonal of LOSPA claimed the position. After extensive discussions, the seven-party alliance agreed on Krishna Prasad Yadav.
