Kathmandu – Minister for Communications Jagdish Kharel has been appointed as the official spokesperson of the government. The decision was made during today’s cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar.
Traditionally, the role of government spokesperson has often been assigned to the Minister for Communications. With this appointment, Kharel will now be responsible for announcing cabinet decisions, presenting the government’s official stance, and coordinating directly with the media.
