Kathmandu – Minister for Energy, Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure, and Urban Development Kulman Ghising has announced that long-stalled development projects will have their contracts terminated. He directed ministry secretaries and department heads to immediately submit a list of defunct projects.
Ghising said non-performing contractors will no longer be allowed to hold projects hostage. Key stalled works include the Sunkoshi-Marin Multipurpose Project, over three road sections, and more than 100 bridge projects.
